Our Junior Orchestra is open and highly recommended to all students learning a string or wind instrument, with at least 6 months to 1 year of tuition completed.
Playing in an ensemble greatly enhances the enjoyment and development of playing an instrument. Our Junior Orchestra provides our students with the opportunity to come together to play and perform – building friendships and confidence!
KMA Junior Orchestra performs bi-annually at our Christmas and Summer Concerts, as well as publicly at local community events in Kinsale during the year.
Attending instrumental lessons at KMA is not a requirement for joining our Orchestra,however admission is at the discretion of the Conductor.
For adults interested in joining an Orchestra we recommend our friends KAOS (Kinsale Amateur Orchestral Society) with whom we collaborate frequently.
